No, no, no. I know what you're thinking and the answer is no. I'm not pregnant. But somebody is!
I had a nice, long, well-over-due phone chat with Katie last week and... she is pregnant! YAAAAY! I was (still am) so excited for her and Rodney! As I am not close in age or relationship with my own sister, Katie has been like a sister to me since about junior high. Then we were college roommates for 2.5 years, in each others weddings... you get the idea.
Katie and Rodney are going to be terrific parents. They love kids, love the Lord, and I can't wait to watch their family grow. She is due February 1st. Unfortunately, they just moved far away to Houston (boo!) but it's only a short-term thing (yay!). Hopefully they will be back in the Midwest again after not too long. God's timing and plan are perfect.
Katie, I know you're reading this so... don't you think now would be a good time to start your own blog on Xanga? It'd be a great way to show off cute belly pictures and keep a record of your pregnancy, among other things. How 'bout it? :)
